Εκδήλωση 13/10/24: Ο ΦΥΤΙΚΟΣ ΠΛΟΥΤΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΚΡΗΤΗΣ

ΗΜΕΡΙΔΑ

To 2010 η Πολιτιστική Εταιρεία Πανόρμου “Επιμενίδης” είχε διοργανώσει με μεγάλη επιτυχία την ημερίδα Ο ΦΥΤΙΚΟΣ ΠΛΟΥΤΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΚΡΗΤΗΣ.

Δεκατέσσερα χρόνια μετά, την Κυριακή 13 Οκτωβρίου 2024,προσεγγίζουμε το ίδιο θέμα, με τους ίδιους αλλά και με νέους εκλεκτούς εισηγητές, προσπαθώντας αφ ενός να ενημερωθούμε για την σημερινή πραγματικότητα με στόχο την προστασία και την ανάδειξη τού “Φυσικού Πλούτου της Κρήτης” αλλά και να ανιχνεύσουμε τις δυνατότητες δημιουργίας ενός βιώσιμου αναπτυξιακού μοντέλου που θα στηρίζεται σε αυτόν. Θα δοκιμάσουμε προιόντα παραγωγών από όλη την Κρήτη και εκλεκτές γεύσεις της Κρητικης γαστρονομίας.

Η Κρήτη αποτελεί πλέον μια από τις Γαστρονομικές Περιφέρειες της Ευρώπης για το 2026, ύστερα από την ομόφωνη απόφαση της επιτροπής του Διεθνούς Ινστιτούτου Γαστρονομίας, Πολιτισμού, Τεχνών και Τουρισμού (IGCAT).

Η ημερίδα θα κλείσει με τα εγκαίνια του νέου πεζόδρομου και ποδηλατόδρομου – ενός πρότυπου αναπτυξιακού έργου του Δήμου Μυλοποτάμου – και θα απολαύσουμε το μοναδικό ηλιοβασίλεμα από τον Φάρο του Πανόρμου.

In 2010, the “Epimenides” Cultural Society of Panormo successfully organized the conference “The Natural Wealth of Crete”

Fourteen years later, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, we revisit the same topic with the same distinguished speakers, as well as new ones. We aim to gain insight into the present conditions, to protect and highlight the “Natural Wealth of Crete,” while also exploring the possibilities of creating a sustainable development model based on it.

We will sample products from producers all over Crete and taste the fine flavors of the Cretan cuisine. Crete has recently been designated as one of Europe’s Gastronomic Regions for 2026, following the unanimous decision of the committee of the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts, and Tourism (IGCAT).

The event will conclude with the inauguration of the new pedestrian and bicycle path—a model development project by the Municipality of Mylopotamos—and we will enjoy the unique sunset from the Panormo Lighthouse.
